Garnett Serenade

Dylanglen Stud is pleased to announce the arrival of our latest purchase, Garnet Serenade, a Class 2 Pure-Bred Connemara mare.  We took her on her first outing to Aonach at CSU Wagga Wagga and we could not be more happy with her.  She went in the parade and Tara rode her around the campas.  She did not put a foot wrong, soaking up as much attention as she could get.  Serenade did everything she was asked to do.  She has a very exciting future ahead of her both under saddle and as a brood mare.

We are excited about the bloodlines she brings into our stud.  She has Oxenholm Gideon (IMP), Castle Baron (IMP) and the dam of Glenormiston McInnerney Muskerry (IIU) (our foundation Connemara stallion) in her pedigree.

She has settled in very well.  She had a good trip from QLD to NSW and did not lose any condition throughout the trip.  She has been very friendly and easy to handle since she arrived.  Kirsty rode her during her first week here and she has also taken Kirsty’s children for a ride on the lead line.

Serenade will start attending pony club rallies in the near future and will join the show team at Dylanglen Stud.
