Today we moved 2 part-bred Connemara mares into Dylanglen Shamrock’s paddock.  Dylanglen Buffy and Dylanglen Amber Rose.  We are hoping that Buffy may give us a filly this time (after 3 colts) as we want a full sister to Dylanglen Red Emperor (sold) & Dylanglen Red Baron (retained at stud).

All nice and peaceful down the road until we get to Shamrock’s paddock…

Dylanglen Red Baron & Dylanglen Honey Rose are meeting our new stud handler and will be returning home next weekend.  He is pleased how well they have come into hand.  We have kept our new stud handler busy over the past few weeks and he is enjoying working with our ponies.

Dylanglen Blizzard (under contract) is progressing along extremely well under saddle and fits in with his new family perfectly.  He is a pony for the whole family, both adults & children.  He will start attending Pony Club shortly.

Dylanglen Savannah Breeze & Dylanglen Scarlet O’Hara will remain at Dylanglen Stud as future breeding stock.  Their temperaments cannot be faulted.  Savannah Breeze is a full sister to Dylanglen Spirit, who is also being retained by the stud for our future kids pony.  Savannah Breeze & Spirit both have the same spunky temperament & Scarlet has had an extremely friendly personality ever since she was born.

We plan to have Dylanglen Spirit broken into saddle this year and he will reside at the Morven property.  He will also attend Pony Club once ready.

Dylanglen Sir Galahad is the next one going to our stud handler.  He is a Connemara/TB Cross and is a future performance prospect.  His dam is an ex pony club horse and his sire (Blandings Beamish) goes nicely under saddle as well.  We expect Galahad to mature to approx 15h.  Pictured below.
